Alpha Delta Pi, also referred to as A-D-Pi, was founded on May 15, 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia. Currently there are 142 active chapters with over 220,000 members.
Alpha Delta Pi's mission statement is, 'First, Finest, Forever," as it is the first and oldest secret society for women. Their mascot, Alphie the Lion, can be seen sitting atop their crest of shaking hands, two stars, and a dijin lamp.
Alpha Delta Pi's colors are azure blue and white, and their official flower is the woodland violet, a reare flower that is unavailable for purchase and only grows in the wild.
